Citrus County Animal Services (CCAS) is happy to announce that the Community Cat Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate Return (TNVR) program has reopened as of Tuesday, May 3, 2022. CCAS will be accepting cats on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30am – 9:30am.

Citrus County Animal Shelter Reopens Community Cat Program

Cats must be in size-appropriate, humane traps. Only one cat per trap and one cat per household will be accepted per day. Cats will receive a physical examination by our veterinarian, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, and an ear tip to show their “good citizen status” before being returned to their outdoor homes.

A special thanks to the volunteers, fosters, and community partners who support CCAS, the shelter, and the TNVR program each year. If you have any questions about CCAS or TNVR, please call (352) 746-8400.
