Citrus County Government offices will be closed Friday, December 24, 2021, and Monday, December 27, 2021, in observance of the Christmas holiday.

Citrus County Government Offices Closed for Christmas Holiday

Normal hours of operation and services will resume Tuesday, December 28, 2021, with the following exceptions:

• Citrus County Animal Services (CCAS) will be closed to the public on Friday, December 24, 2021, and Saturday, December 25, 2021. Normal hours of operation will resume Tuesday, December 28, 2021. For more information on CCAS hours, call (352) 746-8400.
• The Citrus County Library System (CCLS) will be closed on Friday, December 24, 2021, Saturday, December 25, 2021, and Monday, December 27, 2021. Normal hours of operation will resume Tuesday, December 28, 2021. For more information on CCLS hours, call (352) 746-9077.
• The Citrus County Central Landfill will close at 2:30pm on Friday, December 24, 2021, and will be closed on Saturday, December 25, 2021. The Administrative Office will be closed both days and there will be no hazardous waste drop-off. Normal hours will resume Monday, December 27, 2021.
