Keep Pasco Beautiful Celebrates Arbor Day with Giveaway Event

3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
WHERE: Ordinance One

“Trees are critical to preserving our planet,” said Keep Pasco Beautiful Coordinator Kristen King. “They remove CO2 and pollutants and also preserve soil by decreasing stormwater run-off and provide shade and shelter for many animals.”
Pasco County Department of Public Works, Recycling and Environmental Compliance will also have goodies to hand out. And if you bring a receipt dated in January from one of our Companies for a Cause Partners, you’ll receive a Companies for a Cause tote.
This event is a partnership among Keep Pasco Beautiful, Pasco County Department of Public Works, the City of New Port Richey, the City of New Port Richey Environmental Committee, and Friendship Farms & Fare.
Florida has celebrated Arbor Day on the third Friday in January since 1886. For more information about the Arbor Day Celebration, call 727.834.3611 or e-mail info@keeppascobeautiful.org To learn how you can affect positive, sustainable change in your community, visit KeepPascoBeautiful.org.
