Pasco County Offices to Close for New Year’s

Pasco Board of County Commissioners (BCC) offices will be closed Friday, December 30, 2022, and Monday, January 2, 2023, in observance of New Year’s.  All government offices will reopen Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

Pasco County Offices to Close for New Year’s

The Pasco County Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources’ Offices, Recreation Complexes and Community Centers will be closed Friday, December 30, 2022, through Monday January 2, 2023; however, parks and beaches will remain open to the public from dawn to dusk.

Pasco County Public Transportation (GoPasco) will be open Friday, December 30, 2022; however, buses will run on a Saturday schedule.  (Please refer to GoPasco’s Rider Alerts webpage for details.)  Administrative offices will be closed Friday, December 30, 2022; however, phone lines will be open.  GoPasco will operate Saturday, December 31, 2022, and resume service Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

All Pasco County Libraries will be closed Friday, December 30, 2022, and will resume regular hours Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

The Pasco County Animal Services Administration Office, Adoption Center, Intake/Reclaim Shelter and Field Services will be closed Friday, December 30, 2022, and Monday, January 2, 2023.  The Adoption Center and Intake/Reclaim Shelter will close at 4 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2022.  An Animal Control Officer will be available for emergencies only.

The Pasco County Resource Recovery Facility, West Pasco Class III and the East Pasco Transfer Station will be closed to the public Monday, January 2, 2023; however, they’ll be open to Pasco County licensed commercial haulers.
