Pet of the Week – Millie and Poinsettia

By Meaghan Goepferich Posted on January 24, 2023

Millie (ID: A003514) is the sweetest girl! This 5-year-old weighs about 70 pounds. She is friendly and affectionate, enjoying hugs and being near her person. She gives kisses and likes to run and play. She is learning to make friends with other dogs but can be a bit forward. She may do best with tolerant male dogs. Millie knows the sit, shake, stay and come commands, and is learning down. She walks well on a leash and takes treats gently. She can sometimes be wary of strangers, but once she realizes you are a friend, she is a lovebug. If you’d like to make a connection, schedule an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services to meet Millie today!

Poinsettia (ID: A004078) is as sweet as she is gorgeous! She walks well on a leash and knows the sit and down commands. She is very attentive when it comes to food, and she takes treats softly. She is super loving and enjoys being in your lap and cuddling. Poinsettia participates in playgroups with other dogs, preferring those that are calm and gentle like she is. This 3-year-old is the perfect medium size at just under 45 pounds. Make an appointment today with Pasco County Animal Services to meet this flower of a girl!
