Saint Leo University to Close Thursday (Nov. 10) at several Locations

► November 9 night classes at those education centers will move online.

►Center for Catholic-Jewish Studies’ ‘Why Dialogue Matters’ Program, Eternal Light Award Rescheduled for December 8

In response to Tropical Storm Nicole, Saint Leo University has announced several changes to university operations, as noted below:

  • University Campus: The university will be closed on Thursday, November 10, and all classes are canceled.
  • East Pasco Education Office: Classes will be online the evening of Wednesday, November 9, and canceled on Thursday, November 10.
  • Tampa Education Center: Classes will be online the evening of Wednesday, November 9, and canceled on Thursday, November 10.
  • MacDill Education Office: Classes will be online the evening of Wednesday, November 9, and canceled on Thursday, November 10.
  • Lake City Education Center: Classes will be online the evening of Wednesday, November 9, and canceled on Thursday, November 10.
  • Mayport Education Office: Classes will be online the evening of Wednesday, November 9, and canceled on Thursday, November 10.
  • Jacksonville Education Center: Classes will be online the evening of Wednesday, November 9, and canceled on Thursday, November 10.
  • Ocala Education Center: Classes will be online the evening of Wednesday, November 9, and canceled on Thursday, November 10.

Students at locations holding online classes should check their university email and online learning modules for updates and assignments from their instructors. Other than those listed, all other university locations are operating business as usual.

In addition, due to Tropical Storm Nicole, the Why Dialogue Matters and Eternal Light Award program to be hosted by the university’s Center for Catholic-Jewish Studies has been rescheduled to 7 – 9 p.m., Thursday, December 8, at Congregation Schaarai Zedek, 3303 W. Swann Ave., Tampa, FL 33609. RSVP is required at  https://www.saintleo.edu/Why-Dialogue-Matters.
