The City of New Port Richey invites you to join in the celebration and come out to Sims Park to meet the over thirty businesses who have been recognized as Best of the Best by the Tampa Bay Times. 

City of New Port Richey Celebrates the Tampa Bay Times Best of the Best Winners

The event will be held on August 30, 2022 in Sims Park located in downtown New Port Richey.  The event begins with free city tours from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. via the City’s DART (Downtown Area Roundabout Trolley).  The tours will take place every 15 minutes and will begin and end at Peace Hall located on the north side of Sims Park.  Beginning at 6:00 p.m., each business on the Best of the Best list will receive a certificate from the City of New Port Richey commemorating their award announcement by Mayor Rob Marlowe, City Manager Debbie L. Manns, and members of City Council.  Media outlets will have an opportunity to meet the businesses and learn more about why New Port Richey has a large independently owned business community.

As an added bonus, WFLA-TV Channel 8 will highlight four of the businesses on their Daytime show on August 23, 2022 and September 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
