On September 24, 2021, the City of Brooksville’s Art Gallery Coordinator, Pedram Moghaddam, announced a “Call for Artists’ for the upcoming exhibit “Up All Night”.

Uptown Art Gallery Announces Call for Artists

Mr. Moghaddam invites artists to submit three to five pieces of artwork reflecting the
considerable hours spent as an artist coming up with ideas and scrapping them….it can literally
take all night! While the theme is not mandatory, any attempts will be appreciated.

This opportunity provides artists a chance to hone their creativity, set the record straight, be bold, or
even reserved and shine through their expressions. Anything goes – fun pieces, serious pieces or
artists favorite style/era (cubist, impressionist, expressionist etc.).

All mediums are welcome including three dimensional (3D). All artwork should be
gallery ready, with wire securely attached to the back or bottom of the art; display cases are
available to secure smaller items. Artist cards should be attached to each piece with the name of
the artist, medium used and price. If the piece is not for sale, that must be stipulated as well.
Student work is welcome.

Artwork must be submitted between Monday, October 18, and Friday, October 22, 2021.
Pieces will be accepted between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. The Reception for “Up All Night” will
be Friday, November 5, 2021 from 5:30 to7:30pm, music and refreshments will be provided.
