Invasive plants are often cultivated because they are easy and attractive, but we do not want to promote plants that take over our natural environment.

Extension Announces August Gardening Seminar

Do not despair! The topic of the August Library Master Gardener Seminar is “Invasive Plant Alternatives.” At this seminar, UF/Citrus County Extension experts will offer more mannerly, and attractive, alternatives.

This month, the Master Gardener Seminars will resume a live, in-person format on the following dates at 1:00pm:

Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Lakes Region Library

Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Central Ridge Library

Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Floral City Library

Monday, August 23, 2021 at Coastal Region Library

Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Homosassa Public Library
