3rd Annual ‘Two Good Soles’ Drive Collects Shoes for Students
Pasco Government and Constitutional Offices’ collection benefits Pasco Students
For the third year in a row, Pasco County is putting its best foot forward to serve students in need. Pasco County Government and Constitutional Offices are in friendly competition to be the top collectors of new footwear during the Two Good Soles Shoe and Sock Drive to benefit area school children.
“We started this employee-driven collection as a way to give back to the community and support our students,” said Public Services Assistant County Administrator Cathy Pearson. “We’re proud of the effort and dedication our teams devote to such a worthy cause.”
All of the shoes and socks collected are donated directly to Pasco County Schools. Last year’s drive brought in 1,130 shoes and 3,260 pairs of socks.
While this is a collection effort primarily among Pasco County Government agencies, everyone is welcome to donate new shoes or socks. The collection goes from August, 1 through October 8, 2018.
Collection boxes can be found at Pasco County Government departments, as well as offices of the Pasco County Clerk & Comptroller, Property Appraiser, Sheriff, Supervisor of Elections and Tax Collector countywide.
