The Citrus County Board of County Commissioners is seeking applications for three vacancies: one
Technical Member and one Lay Member term, both of which will expire on January 31, 2027, and one
Alternate Member for a term that will expire on January 31, 2024, to serve on the Citrus County Water &
Wastewater Authority (WWA).

Applications Open for Vacancy on Water & Wastewater Authority

The WWA provides for regulation of private, for-profit water, bulk water, and wastewater utilities within
the unincorporated areas of Citrus County. Applicants are required to be Citrus County residents and
registered to vote in Citrus County.

The following shall be appointed based on:

1. Technical Member: Individual expertise in one or more of the following areas: engineering:
   with experience in water and sewer systems; executive experience in finance, accounting,
   ratemaking, and/or utility regulation; or business administration.
2. Lay Member: On the basis of individual civic pride and integrity.
3. Alternate Member: Who will take his/her voting seat only during times of absence of a regular
   member of the Authority.

The WWA meets monthly at 1:00 p.m. at the Lecanto Government Building, Room 166.
Applications will be accepted until Friday, September 22, 2023, and can be found at www.citrusbocc.com/boardapplication. Completed applications should be sent to Citrus County
Administration, 3600 W. Sovereign Path Suite 267, Lecanto FL 34461. Applications which meet the
eligibility requirements will be forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners for evaluation,
nomination, and selection.
