Brookdale Citrus Assisted Living, located at 2341 W. Norvell Bryant Highway in Lecanto, Florida will host a chili cookoff fund-raising benefit from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 31^st.

All-you-can-eat admission is $5.00 per person, $3.00 for ten years or younger, and there is no entry fee for chili cooking contestants.  Prizes will be awarded for the first three places, plus there will be a people’s choice award.

In addition to a great chili feed, there will be a petting zoo featuring rabbits, goats, calves, and mini horses; a corn hole competition, and live music by Frank Miller and his band.

Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association and the Alzheimer’s Family Organization.  For more information, call 352-746-2273.
