Experience Florida’s Sports Coast Visitor Information Center

At the northern edge of Tampa Bay, Florida’s Sports Coast is an outdoor lover’s paradise. Close to major cities, the area boasts over 24 miles of coastline to the west, hilly terrain to the east and more than 100,000 acres of pristine wilderness to explore in between.

In Pasco, visitors are invited to step back in time and enjoy a slice of Florida the way it used to be! Whether you are looking for a weekend getaway or a week-long retreat, Pasco County is a great place to relax and unwind. With an average annual temperature of 72 degrees, plenty of indoor and outdoor adventures, family-friendly events and sports tournaments year-round, Pasco County has something for everyone!

The Florida’s Sports Coast Destination Management Office & Visitor Information Center is conveniently located at 1938 Duck Slough Blvd. in Trinity, Florida.

It is open Monday – Friday from 7:30am – 4:30 pm on most days.

We have free Destination Guides and Activity Brochures available.

Whether you want to go kayaking or paddleboarding at Werner Boyce Salt Springs State Park, go ice skating or zip lining in Dade City, or meet a zebra at Giraffe Ranch. Epic mountain biking, hiking or skydiving too. Everything the active outdoor couple or family is looking for can be found in this destination – and with 9 golf courses across Florida’s Sports Coast why not try a different course each day of your trip?

For premier dining and shopping, check out the Tampa Premium Outlets or Shops at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel. For summer visitors, make sure you book a scalloping trip! From July 1-August 6, you can join the Florida-style easter egg hunt for scallops in the shallow waters out in the Gulf of Mexico and take your catch over to a local restaurant for an unforgettable fish-to-fork experience.

Enjoy New Port Richey, Dade City, Zephyrhills, Wesley Chapel, and all of our smaller towns throughout Pasco County. Stop by the office to pick up a guide at the beginning of your visit and make sure to grab a recipe card for our famous Kumquat Pie!
