Brian S. Brijbag Esq. is a longtime resident of the Nature Coast area. A graduate of Springstead High School, Brijbag has given back to the community through his work on the Hernando County Fine Arts Council, the Bandshell Bash, and with Stage West Community Playhouse.
Brijbag’s work in Hernando County has been recognized by the State with the 2006 Roy F. Kenzie State Cultural Enhancement Award Winner given by the Florida Redevelopment Association in addition to being a finalist for the Florida League of Cities’ City Spirit Award.
He was recently recognized as one of the Super Lawyers Rising stars in the top 2.5% and was chosen to be on the A-Team, a community for adults with disabilities. He and his wife, Stephanie, have started the Brijbag Family Foundation, which is a 501c3, to help get resources back into public schools for children with disabilities.
He is the author of 7 Deadly Sins of Your Florida Personal Injury Case: A Victim’s Guide to Florida Personal Injury Claims as well as the author of Southern Chivalry: Environmental Hazard Risk Communication and Perception in a Small Southern Neighborhood.
Brijbag has served as the Editor-in-Chief of the WMU Cooley Journal of Practical Law as well as having offered Pro Bono work at the Cooley Debt Relief Clinic. Besides his Juris Doctor, Brian has a master’s degree in Public Health and a master’s degree in Applied Anthropology. He also holds multiple bachelor’s degrees. Brian is Certified in Public Health and is a Licensed Florida Real Estate Agent.
