Central Landfill Maintenance Begins July 18

Beginning on Monday, July 18, 2022, the Citrus County Central Landfill will be undergoing maintenance and performing installation of new scales. Lane closures and redirection of traffic are expected to occur for the entire duration of this project, which is anticipated to be complete in August (weather permitting). To minimize wait times, the Citrus County Solid Waste Division strongly encourages the use of cash payments for small flat rate loads during this transition.
