Through this program, youth will have the opportunity to learn from for MLB players about fundamentals of the game: throwing, batting, fielding, and base running: the curriculum also covers important life skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and goal setting.
“The Legends for Youth Clinic is our first-ever partnership with Major League Baseball,” said Citrus County Parks-Events Coordinator Manuel Coimbre. “It will be an exciting opportunity for Citrus County youth to learn from a legend.”
The MLBPAA Legends for Youth Clinic Series is a charitable program running more than 180 free events each year worldwide. Its mission is to promote the game of baseball to youth using positive sports images and personalities.
