Citrus County Seeking Applicants for Water & Wastewater Authority

The Citrus County Board of County Commissioners is seeking applications for two (2) vacancies on its
Water and Wastewater Authority:
(1) Alternate Member term will expire January 31, 2025
(1) Lay Member term that will expire on January 31, 2028

This board provides for regulation of private, for-profit water, bulk water, and wastewater utilities
within the unincorporated areas of Citrus County. Applicants are required to be Citrus County residents
and registered to vote in Citrus County.

Qualifications for Alternate Member include: Individual expertise in one (1) or more of the following
areas: Engineering: with experience in water and sewer systems; Executive experience in finance,
accounting, ratemaking, and/or utility regulation; or Business Administration. The Lay Member shall be
appointed based on Individual Civic Pride and Integrity.

Regular meetings are generally held on the first Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m. except as such
meetings may otherwise be scheduled.

Applications will be accepted until January 31, 2024, and applicants which meet the eligibility
requirements will be forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners for evaluation, nomination, and
selection.
