Crystal River Health supports Citrus Walk Aware for Alzheimer’s

Crystal River Health and Rehabilitation Center, located at 136 Northeast 12 Avenue in Crystal River, has become a Pacesetter Sponsor of Citrus Walk Aware for Alzheimer’s with a $500 contribution.  The event will take place in Floral City on Saturday, October 20, is expected to attract hundreds of participants to walk for Alzheimer’s awareness and to raise funds for the non-profit AFO.

The Crystal River Health and Rehabilitation Center provides a skilled nursing environment with professionally trained nurses, certified nurses’ aides and physical therapists.  Residents can relax in an outdoor courtyard and take part in many daily activities for an active and involved lifestyle.

Community Liaison Manager Chris Delgado states, “As a provider of memory care, we well understand the importance of supporting the work of a non-profit organization like the AFO that serves family caregivers for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and dementia throughout the Nature Coast Region.”
