Beginning birders will enjoy learning techniques that will be very helpful in this popular hobby. Millions of people relax and observe our beautiful birds in varying habitats around the world. Life bird lists are created and added to in one’s back yard, on hiking trails and in local parks.
• Birding is a treasure hunt – you never know what exciting gems you will find.
• Birdwatching is fun and educational and takes you to places you might never go otherwise.
• No experience is necessary; simply patience, enthusiasm, a love of nature and a challenge are required.
Please bring a notebook, water, binoculars, and sunscreen; wear a hat and closed-toe shoes.
