Learn how to enter your bird sightings into eBird.
eBird is a free app developed by Cornell Lab of Ornithology that can be used on a computer or smart phone with which you enter your bird sightings and share them with others. eBird keeps track of all the birds you have seen, including when and where you saw them.
These entries then provide researchers, scientists, and amateur naturalists with real-time data about the abundance and distribution of birds. We will watch a video about how to enter reports of bird sightings, and have time for questions.
This program is part of a celebration of National Bird Day at Chinsegut Conservation Center.
