Richey Suncoast Theatre presents “Superman”, released in 1978, Superman soars as the quintessential superhero. Christopher Reeve’s iconic portrayal of Superman, from his Kryptonian origins to his dual life as Clark Kent, captivates. The film balances romance, wit, and dazzling special effects. Marlon Brando’s Jor-El, Gene Hackman’s Lex Luthor, and Margot Kidder’s Lois Lane enrich the ensemble. Director Richard Donner masterfully crafts this origin story, setting the stage for superhero blockbusters.
