Join us for Adventure Coast Group’s monthly virtual meetup Wednesday October 19th from 7-8PM. Jason Lauritsen and Danna Bramlett will share insights about the Nature Coast and its important role in the Florida Wildlife Corridor. They will discuss the hotspots and bottlenecks in your backyard, ongoing efforts to close gaps in our knowledge and in the landscape, and highlights from the Nature Coast expedition “Home Waters”.
Jason Lauritsen is Chief Conservation Officer of the Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation and Coalition. He works at all levels of the public and private sector on land and water protection, science, stewardship, and community relationships to align and coordinate conservation efforts in the Florida Wildlife Corridor. Jason sits on the FDEP Greenways and Trails Council, and the Florida Transportation Plan Environmental Partners Working Group. He has accumulated over 20 years of experience in conservation from restoration, prescribed fire, wetland mitigation, environmental education, ecotourism, research and policy.
He will be joined by Danna Bramlett, Director of Development for the Florida Wildlife Corridor Foundation. She channels her passion, drive and knowledge for conservation into building strong values and long-lasting partnerships that lead to success. Danna’s been a fundraising professional for 26 years. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and connecting to the outdoors through kayaking, canoeing, camping, hunting and hiking.
