Towards Sustainable Landscapes | Citrus Native Plant Society Monthly Meeting

March 7 @ 6:15 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

Join author, educator, and conservation director Dr. Craig Huegel for a discussion on what a sustainable landscape includes; the talk focuses on mostly native plants as well as whatever else helps boost our local ecology. Always engaging, Dr. Huegel uses Central Florida landscapes as laboratories to evaluate native plants, growing a wide variety of species that are not commonly propagated elsewhere but maybe should be.

Our Annual Plant Sale also kicks off this evening so you can pre-order those harder-to-find native plants you’ve been searching for.

Arrive at 6:15 pm for gardening tips with our perennial favorite, Barbara’s Bits, and get your raffle tickets before 7 pm to enter our monthly plant drawing.

Chapter merchandise, free informational handouts, sign up sheets for upcoming events, and enthusiastic native plant people are all waiting for you at the in-person event.

The meeting will be broadcast LIVE on both our YouTube channel and Facebook page.

Come be a part of our community!
