The Florida Department of Emergency Management Recovery Bureau notified Hernando County officials that a FEMA Federal Declaration for Individual Assistance application was approved for Hernando County resulting from the impacts of Hurricane Idalia. Individuals wishing to apply for FEMA assistance are asked to go to FEMA.gov and click on Apply for Assistance.
