Fifth Annual Community Art Show

The City of New Port Richey will be hosting the Fifth Annual Community Art Show during the month of August at the City Hall Art Gallery located on the first floor in City Hall, 5919 Main Street, New Port Richey.  The theme of this year’s exhibit is “What My Eyes Have Seen” and will be limited to the first 50 artists who register.  Submissions must be in one of the following mediums: graphics/drawings, mixed media, oils & acrylics, photography or watercolors. A maximum of two entries per artist allowed.

Fifth Annual Community Art Show

Voting for the Community Art Show will begin on Monday, August 5, 2019 and will run each weekday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. until Friday, August 16, 2019. The public is invited to come down to City Hall and vote for their favorite work of art.  Voting slips will be available in the City Hall Art Gallery. 

The awards reception will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in City Hall where the top five vote-getters will be announced and receive the “People’s Choice” ribbons. One artist will be bestowed the 2019 “Mayor’s Choice” medal.

All applications and submittals must be received by July 26, 2019 in order to participate in the exhibition.
