The Fifth Annual Coping with Dementia Caregivers Conference will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on January 16th 2019 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 6 Roosevelt Blvd., in Beverly Hills, Florida.  The event, organized by Coping with Dementia LLC, is open to the public, includes lunch, and is free of charge.

This year, caregivers for loved ones living with dementia will learn about activities to make care easier and more enjoyable, how to get your legal work in order, ways to become a less-stressed caregiver, how your loved one communicates through behavior, and what resources are available from the Alzheimer’s Family Organization and other companies and organizations in Citrus County.

Attendees will have the opportunity to take the Virtual Dementia Tour, provided by Senior Helpers, and free audio screening will be available from Advanced Family Hearing.  There will be a special one-day showing of the Great Americans Alzheimer’s Awareness Photo Exhibit, and participants will have an opportunity for questions and answers with the experts.

While the conference is free, interested parties are urged to register as early as possible since as many as 200 are expected to attend.  To reserve your seat and free lunch, call 352-422-3663 or e-mail deb@coping.today.  To register on-line, go to www.coping.today/events.
