Experience Florida’s Sports Coast (FSC), the destination management organization for Pasco County, is gearing up for the 2023-2024 Marketing Matching Sponsorship Program cycle (MMSP) aimed at supporting special event organizers and events that have potential to attract tourists to the destination.

Florida’s Sports Coast Opens 2023-2024 Marketing Matching Sponsorship Program Cycle 

Please see important information for Florida’s Sports Coast 2023-2024 Marketing Matching Sponsorship program below:

1.   Request dates for the Florida’s Sports Coast one-on-one Q&A session. Meetings must be scheduled before June 5, 2023, and held before June 16, 2023.

2.   Event Host Organization must be established previously for a minimum of two years with proven track record of success. 

3.   Event must be hosted between October 1, 2023, and September 30, 2024.

4.   Event Host Organizations must demonstrate that the event will directly contribute to the promotion of tourism and attraction of overnight visitors to Pasco County by having a marketing plan for the event that includes promotions out of Pasco County.

5.   Event Host Organizations must include a breakdown in the marketing plan of how they will match the requested Florida’s Sports Coast funding amount with a dollar-for-dollar match and/or in-kind promotions for event related marketing expenditures. Applicant is allowed to use its matching dollars and/or in-kind contributions to promote the Event in Pasco County. However, all reimbursable marketing expenditures must be targeted out of Pasco County.

6.   Submit application to Florida’s Sports Coast by July 14th, 2023.

7.   Pasco County’s signature events, including Chasco Fiesta, Cotee Bike Fest, Kumquat Festival, and Pigs in Z’Hills BBQ & Blues Fest, may qualify for funding of up to $20,000.00 The funding amount will be determined based on their out-of-Pasco-County marketing plans, the number of events applying for this program, and budget availability.

8.    Additional events can be eligible for funding of up to $5,000.00. The funding amount will be determined based on their out-of-Pasco-County marketing plans, the number of events applying for this program, and budget availability.
