Free Concert in Sims Park (6431 Bank Street) on April 25^th, 2020 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. Almost ABBA, ABBA Tribute

The City of New Port Richey Parks and Recreation Department presents the seventh and final installment of the Free Concert Series for 2019/2020 Season on April 25, 2020

The City of New Port Richey Parks and Recreation Department is proud to present the 2019/2020 Concert Series bringing music lovers of all ages to the downtown’s focal point, beautiful Sims Park, to enjoy a free concert in an outdoor setting. The seventh and final installment of the concert series will be Almost ABBA, the top-ranked ABBA tribute! Almost ABBA is an amazing tribute band composed of musicians and singers that bring the musical excellence of ABBA to your downtown amphitheater.  This high energy show will get you out of your chair singing along with some of ABBA’s greatest hits!

These concerts are presented without cost to the audience by the City of New Port Richey, so bring the entire family, chairs, blankets, and be ready for a musically good time!  Light concert snacks will be available for sale from local businesses and everyone is encouraged to dine at one of our many downtown restaurants prior to the concert or stop in for an after-concert libation at one of our microbreweries, pubs or clubs. Limited seating is provided but please feel free to bring your own chairs. Although pets on leashes are welcome in Sims Park, it is veterinary recommended that you leave your pets at home for this event.

For the duration of this concert, please be aware that the Gloria Swanson Parking Lot located next to the Hacienda at the corner of Bank St. and Circle Blvd. will be closed for this concert, so be sure to find parking in a different location for this concert.

The New Port Richey Recreation and Aquatics Center will also be offering a FREE Park and Ride Service beginning at 6 P.M. to transport you safely to Sims Park, and the last shuttle will leave Sims to return to the NPR RAC promptly at 9:30 P.M. Be sure to utilize this service for hassle-free parking to and from the concert!

This will be the final installment of the 2019-2020 concert series, until October when we return with a full slate of concerts to bring back to the Sims Park Amphitheater for the 2020-2021 calendar!
