Managing Pests Wisely

Citrus County Utilities’ Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ Program is offering a free gardening workshop on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, from 2:00-3:30pm. Correctly identifying the cause of plant damage is always the first step to controlling an infestation. Inspection, scouting, identification, selecting the least harmful method of control, and accurate application are important integrated pest management practices.

Right Plant, Right Place

Citrus County Utilities’ Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ Program is offering a free gardening workshop on Saturday, April 19, 2022, from 2:00-3:30 pm. Once established, the right plant is often sustainable without supplemental watering. Choosing appropriate plant materials, planting them correctly, and managing them wisely ensures a garden’s success.
