Hen House Café to host dementia fund-raiser

The Hen House Café, located at 206 Tompkins Street in downtown Inverness, will host a “Thanks to our Caregivers” fund-raising dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2019.

Hen House Café to host dementia fund-raiser

Debbie Selsavage, President of Coping with Dementia LLC, and Hen House owner Kim Speckner will host the evening that will include roast turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes or yams, a choice of vegetable, bread, dessert, and a drink for $15 per plate.  

Seating is limited, so reservations should be made early.  Tickets can be purchased at the Hen House, or at The Diner at 5490 S. Florida Avenue any day of the week between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.  The beneficiary of the evening is Dementia Education, Inc., a 501(3)(c) non-profit corporation dedicated to advancing dementia care and awareness in Citrus County.
The Hen House Café is Citrus County’s first certified Dementia Friendly business.
