Hernando Audubon Trip to View Nesting Purple Martins: Saturday, May 4, 9 AM
Meet at Remington Outpost, 26300 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville. Caravan from there a short distance to a private residence where many Purple Martins are breeding and will be feeding their young. Hernando Audubon Trip to View Nesting Purple Martins

Hernando Audubon Society will have its end-of-season picnic on Thursday, May 9, at Chinsegut Conservation Center, 23212 Lake Lindsey Road, Brooksville. There will be a bird walk at 5 PM, and picnic at 6 PM. Participants are asked to bring their own place settings and a side dish to share.

Meetings and bird walks led by Hernando Audubon Society will resume in September. For more details about this and future activities, check hernandoaudubon.org  All Hernando Audubon activities are free and open to the public.
