Hernando County Emergency Management Lifts Evacuation Orders

Hernando County Government along with Emergency Management Officials has lifted the mandatory evacuation orders effective August 31, 2023, for evacuation zones A, B, and C, coastal areas, low-lying areas, as well as manufactured homes county wide.

Residents are urged to still take caution when returning to their homes. Damage Assessment crews continue to assess impacted areas in Hernando County. To report any damage, debris, or downed trees, please contact the Public Information center at (352) 754-4083.
