Members of the Hernando County Legislative Delegation will hold a public meeting on Friday, February 12th at 1 p.m. at the Hernando County Government Center, 20 N. Main Street, Brooksville, FL 34601.

This annual public meeting is an opportunity for citizens, elected officials, municipalities, local government and civic organizations to address the delegation before the start of the 2021 Legislative Session.

Any member of the public is welcome to attend and are required to follow social distancing guidelines and masks must be worn during the duration of the public meeting.

Decisions regarding any local legislation for the 2021 Legislative Session will be made at this time. All proposals for local bills are to be presented at this public meeting and accompanied by a Resolution from the local government supporting the proposed legislation.

If a citizen wishes to appear at the meeting, please email Rachel.witbracht@myfloridahouse.gov to request a speaker form. Forms may also be requested at the delegation meeting and speakers will be called upon in the order in which they are received.

Copies of the agenda for the delegation meeting will also be made available day-of for those interested.
