Housing Authority office reopens to the public by appointment only

The Hernando County Housing Authority administrative office building, located at 621 W. Jefferson Street in Brooksville, has reopened to the public by appointment only.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to keep our clients and staff as safe as possible, the following policies will be implemented for all persons entering the building until further notice:

  • For all in-person appointments, only the client and adult members of the household (and interpreters as required) will be allowed into the office
  • The use of facial coverings and a body temperature check will be required when entering the building
  • Individuals who appear ill or have a body temperature above CDC requirements (100.4 degrees) will not be seen for their in-person appointment and will be instructed to phone-in at their scheduled time instead
  • Walk-ins will not be seen for any reason
  • It is encouraged that all documents be mailed, emailed or faxed to the Housing Authority
