Hugh Embry Library set to Reopen May 30
Pasco County Libraries is pleased to usher in a new chapter! Following a complete remodel, the Hugh Embry Library will be ready to welcome back our community Tuesday, May 30, 2023!
The floor-to-ceiling renovation is thanks to Pasco voters who approved the General Obligation Bond (GO Bond) Referendum in 2018.
Renovations include:
- New adult, teens and children’s spaces
- New meeting space
- New study rooms
- Updated technology
- Central service desk
- New landscaping and monument sign
“The Dade City community has been very patient throughout our remodel,” said Pasco County Libraries Digital Media Manager Jordan Miltner. “We can’t wait to show off our beautiful new look – and welcome people back to their favorite library!”
While some furniture will be delivered after the reopening, you can still browse the bookshelves, use the computers and visit your favorite library team members. Library customers picking up hold items at the Dade City Senior Center can begin picking them up at the library May 30.
