Affected residents do not need to schedule debris pickup as crews will be making one pass down each city street over the next several weeks from 7AM until 7PM each day.  All discarded items and debris must be separated and placed into the following piles:

  • Household Garbage
  • Construction Debris*
  • Vegetation Debris
  • Household Hazardous Waste
  • ‘White’ Goods
  • Electronics

*Contractor-generated construction debris will not be collected.

Regular garbage will be picked up by your private hauler on your regular trash days.  When placing items at the curb, be sure to not block the roadway and take care to not block fire hydrants, mailboxes, electrical boxes or any other structures.  Do not place debris in bags, and make sure appliances are empty, with the doors secured or removed.  Please see the illustration below for reference.  For more information on the storm related debris pickup or for any questions, please contact Public Works at (727) 841-4536 Monday through Friday from 8AM until 3PM.
