Pasco County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources has opened the newly-renovated boat ramp and floating dock at Robert J. Strickland Memorial Park, nearly a month ahead of schedule.  Construction work on the boat ramp and dock, located at 6345 Clark Street in Hudson, was initially set to be completed at the end of May, 2017.

Renovations include:

  • an expanded launching area to better accommodate boaters
  • improved drainage and curbs in the parking lot
  • replaced floating dock next to boat ramp and added mooring space
  • railings added along walkway and around perimeter of dock
The Robert Strickland park boat ramp in Hudson is wider after renovations.

Douglas N. Higgins, Inc. performed the work on the project, which was funded through the Florida Boating Improvement Program.
