The WellCome OM Integral Healing & Education Center to Offer Discussion on Fall Prevention

Maria Scunziano-Singh, MD, NMD, believes that the only trip you should take should be on vacation. She will conduct a complimentary program on fall prevention on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at 1:30 pm at the WellCome OM Integral Healing & Education Center located at 4242 Lake in the Woods Drive, Spring Hill, Florida 34607.

This is an information session on taking a practical approach to fall prevention to reduce the risk of falls in seniors. Dr. Maria will also be working with basic fitness equipment and demonstrating strengthening exercise.

A fall can be life-changing for a senior, both physically and emotionally. Falls can result in hip fractures, broken bones, head injuries, and many other complications. “If you have an aging parent, grandparent, or neighbor in your life, helping them reduce their risk of falling is a great way to help them stay healthy and independent,” says Dr. Maria.
