Live Oak Conservatory Welcomes Bethany L. Carr to Its Faculty

Bethany L. Carr holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the Crown College of the Bible, Powell, TN; and has completed 8 of 10 levels in violin performance with the Royal Conservatory of Music Development Program, Toronto, Canada; level 9 is in process. She taught violin for two and a half years at the Sandpoint Music Conservatory in Sandpoint, Idaho. While there, and since then, she has performed in many concerts, with various orchestras, small ensembles, string quartets, as well as a violin soloist and featured violin soloist.

Trained as a classical violinist and musician, Bethany has a passion for helping students learn and understand that music is an emotional world of love, fun and excitement. Each student can expect their lessons to consist of not only fun, but of both making music and learning music theory. Some of her favorite composers include Mozart, Mendelssohn, Haydn, and Paganini; while greats she seeks to emulate include: Itzak Perlman, Jascha Heifetz, and Hillary Hahn. Her utmost desire is that all praise goes to God, “Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.” Psalm 150:6. She is thankful and very excited for the opportunity to teach through Live Oak Theatre and Conservatory.
