Open Mic Night will once again be a regular occurrence in Citrus County on the final Wednesday of each month beginning Wednesday, January 27, 2021, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm at Central Ridge Community Center, located at 77 Civic Circle in Beverly Hills.

Vocalists, musicians, poets, and comedians are welcome along with anyone who has a talent they would like to perform for a live audience.

The event does have some ground rules. As the venue is open to all ages, no profanity will be tolerated and CDC social distancing guidelines will be followed. Audience chairs will be set 6 feet apart, though parties from the same household will be welcome to sit closer. No one will be allowed entry into the building without a mask, although performers will be able to take them off during their stage time.

“It’s been a while, and we’re excited to once again be able to provide this space for the creative community to come together,” said Andrea Cuccaro, Recreation Program Specialist. “We also want the public to know that we are taking precautions to insure folks that attend the event are distancing and remaining safe,” she added.
