Main Street Bakery Opens in NPR

By Posted on December 9, 2020

We couldn’t have been more excited when we got the news. Main Street Bakery, one of the several commercial spaces on the first-floor of Main Street Landing, is finally open!

After many months of build out, Reyna Giler is staking her claim as the first bakery in downtown New Port Richey. Already her shop is buzzing. From buttery croissants to rich chocolate muffins, baked goods are flying off the shelves!

One of our favorite items at the Main Street Bakery is the guava and cheese pastele! This traditional Latin dessert is light, flaky, and filled to the seams with sweet goodness! It’s one of the more popular items in the shop, which makes sense, bocaditos are her specialty.

Despite the surge of popularity she’s seen already, she has an extensive plan to test out more recipes. “Come back next week,” she tells us, “we’ll have zucchini bread, banana cake, hot sandwiches in the morning, and cafe con leche all day long!” Reyna, you don’t need to tell us twice!

We’ve been waiting for the Main Street Bakery since the “coming soon” sign first went up in the window, but we had no idea that it would be this good.

It isn’t too shocking when we learned that Reyna’s talents in the kitchen have earned her recognition over the 30+ years.

We’re looking forward to enjoying more baked goods, espresso, and Main Street views from the Main Street Bakery, located at .
