MFCS Introduces New CEO

Mid Florida Community Services, Inc., one of the largest non-profit Community Action agencies in the state of Florida, is pleased to announce Mat Kline as the Chief Executive Officer.

Kline will further guide the agency in its mission of helping people and changing lives through strengthening partnerships, mobilizing resources, and providing comprehensive services.

Kline, of Brooksville, has spent the last nearly 20 years working in human services and has extensive experience in the areas of child welfare, quality assurance, serving vulnerable populations, and developing highly effective teams.  For the last six years, Kline has served Mid Florida Community Services, Inc. (MFCS), in a variety of roles from Family and Community Partnerships Manager, Director of Senior Services, and most recently, Chief Operating Officer.  During his tenure at MFCS, Kline earned the designation as a Certified Community Action Professional, a highly desired and prestigious certification in the Community Action Network.

“It’s an honor and pleasure to be given the opportunity to lead an established and well-respected agency, which has positively impacted many lives over the past 53 years,” said Kline.  “I look forward to what the future holds for Mid Florida Community Services and the Community Action Network, and I’ll commit to ensuring we do everything in our power, along with our partners, in collective effort to continue building bridges of opportunity and hope for the vulnerable citizens within our service region.”

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Management from St. Leo University and a Master’s Degree in Human Services-Business from Liberty University, Kline is highly-skilled in the areas of program development, strategic planning, performance management, community engagement, organizational assessment, policy development, capacity building, and leadership development.
