By Florida's Original NatureCoaster™ Posted on May 17, 2018

On Thursday, May 10, Naturecoaster.com joined the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce to raise awareness of our mission to unite the people of Citrus, Hernando and Pasco Counties with the myriad of wonderful businesses, events and activities available.

NatureCoaster.com is an online magazine whose mission is to unite the residents of, visitors to, and those relocating or considering relocation to Florida’s Nature Coast through its regional calendar of events, online directory of local businesses and organizations, feature articles and items of interest about what’s happening in Citrus, Hernando and Pasco Counties.

“Ardath Pendergast with the Chamber, was instrumental in helping us get connected to this valuable Citrus County resource,” stated Diane Bedard, Publisher of NatureCoaster.com. “We are excited to join forces with the Chamber to help raise awareness of all Citrus County has to offer our readers and look forward to working together on various events and projects.”

The Citrus County Chamber of Commerce puts on several exciting events during the year, including the Manatee Festival, the Strawberry Festival and Mermaids & Margaritas. They work hard to promote commerce and citizenship throughout Citrus County and they have two staffed locations: Crystal River and Inverness.

As a regional media outlet, NatureCoaster.com looks forward to helping the Chamber and its members in their mission to advance the economic growth of the region, promote the interests of the business community, provide key leadership on key commerce issues and preserve the county’s quality of life.

NatureCoaster.com was started in April of 2014 by Diane Bedard. With extensive publishing, writing and graphic design backround, as well as a deep-seated love of the area, Diane decided to create a magazine that would help both locals and visitors connect with what is happening in the region. As a new member of the Citrus County Chamber, she is looking forward to meeting like-minded people who share her vision.
