The City of New Port Richey will be hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new boardwalks at Orange Lake on Thursday, March 28, 2019, at 9:00 a.m.  The ceremony will take place on the west side of the lake.

The boardwalks were constructed and installed as part of Phase II of the Orange Lake Restoration Project which began last year with the initial dredging of the lake.

“The boardwalks and gazebos will provide visitors a place to relax and enjoy the scenery around the lake.  The City worked diligently to complete this project in time for the beginning of this year’s Chasco Fiesta,” stated City Manager Debbie L. Manns.

Orange Lake is located adjacent to Sims Park in beautiful downtown New Port Richey.
