Pasco County Hosts 28th Annual Earth Day Celebration
Celebrate Mother Earth with the whole family at Pasco County’s 28th annual Earth Day Celebration! This free event promotes environmental education and a commitment to a greener community.
WHAT: Earth Day Celebration
WHEN: Saturday, April 22 | 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
WHERE: Crews Lake Wilderness Park | 16739 Crews Lake Drive | Spring Hill
Our Earth Day celebration includes a Florida-native plant sale, upcycle vendors, ladybug release and educational displays. Presentations include Dundee Farms, Fox Tales Florida and Florida Skunk Rescue. Plus, Keep Pasco Beautiful and Covanta Pasco will be handing out free, sustainable goodies while supplies last.
This is also a great opportunity to recycle or get rid of your household hazardous waste:
- Household hazardous waste collection
- Electronics recycling
- Document shredding | 3 bag limit
- Mercury disposal | Bring old thermostats/thermometers & receive a $5 gift card
The UF/IFAS Pasco County Cooperative Extension Service will hold two workshops at the event: Rain Water Harvesting and Composting Happens. Seating is limited and pre-registration is required by April 20, 2023.
