Pasco County Pet of the Week

Morgan (ID: 49714674) is the happiest girl! This 5-year-old weighs about 55 pounds. She is friendly, lovable, playful and full of energy. This sweet girl likes to be in your lap, give kisses and get butt scratches. Although she is deaf, you would never know it! She follows the sit, down and shake commands, and she takes treats gently. Morgan can be a bit of a rough player. She’s just so enthusiastic about making new friends! She also tends to pull on a leash, so she will need someone who can handle her strength. Morgan would do best in a home with older children or adults only, and she also doesn’t like to share her things. She has started participating in playgroups at the shelter. She can be selective when it comes to other dogs, so a meet-and-greet is recommended if you have another pup. As always, slow introductions and careful supervision are the key to making doggy friends. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion, make an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services today to meet Morgan!

Looking for lots of laughs? Tater (ID: 50008212) will provide them! He’s 5 years old and about 55 pounds. This funny guy is too cute as he gets the “zoomies” and runs around the yard. He loves to play and chase after a ball. He’s also super affectionate and loving, giving kisses, hugs and snuggles. Tater walks well on a leash; knows the sit, shake and down commands; and takes treats gently. Although friendly with people, he may do best as an only pet or with slow, careful introductions. Make an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services today to meet Tater and you’re sure to fall in love!
