Pasco County Pet of the Week

Brent (ID: 49359794) is a sweet but shy boy looking for a soft place to land. He is about 2 years old and 65 pounds. He is calm and gentle, but nervous around new people and situations. He sits on command, takes treats gently and walks beautifully on a leash. Brent would do best in a home without other dogs. He did test positive for heartworms and demodex, and Pasco County Animal Services staff would be happy to discuss treatment options with you. Can you provide a peaceful home where Brent can relax? Julie (ID: 49289831) is a high-energy girl looking for an active home. She is about 3 years old and 45 pounds. She tends to pull on the leash, and she wants to run. A big yard where she can play and explore would be ideal. Julie responds well to corrections and is a sweetheart once she settles down. She takes treats gently and even gives little kisses. Although she likes people, she would do best as an only dog. Julie is heartworm positive, but her treatment will be sponsored upon adoption.
