It’s easy to fall in love with Blu (ID: A000025)! This 9-year-old weighs about 65 pounds. She is the sweetest girl — so gentle, calm and quiet. This cuddle bug has a soft temperament and likes to be in your lap and give kisses. She walks well on a leash; knows the sit, shake, stay and come commands; and takes treats gently. She is a playgroup rockstar, getting along well with other dogs. Like many senior dogs, Blu has a couple of lumps and bumps and she could also use a dental. She also tested positive for heartworms, and PCAS staff would be happy to discuss treatment options with you. But she is well worth it! Falcon (ID: A000035) doesn’t understand why he’s still looking for a home! This friendly 6-year-old boy likes to be in your lap and give kisses. He is attentive, listens well, and knows the sit, shake, down, stay and come commands. He also takes treats gently, though at 70 pounds, he should probably not have too many! A healthy diet and regular exercise will help to get him in tip-top shape. Falcon has done well with female dogs but hasn’t yet been introduced to males. He can be a little exuberant and could use some work on jumping. He walks well on leash and would make a great jogging companion.
