Pasco County Pet of the Week – Maeve and Peach
Maeve (ID: 50475352) is a friendly, sweet girl looking for an active home. This 5-year-old weighs about 60 pounds. She is playful and likes to chase a toy around. She is learning to make friends with other dogs and would do best with those that are calm. Maeve gives kisses, but she can be a little mouthy and a bit of a rough player. She pulls on the leash at first but walks well after she gets some of her energy out. If Maeve sounds like a good fit for you, make an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services today to meet her!
Peach (ID: 50407845) is the cutest girl! This 4-year-old is the perfect medium size at just under 40 pounds. She is energetic and likes to have fun, but she also has a sweet, gentle side. Peach is attentive; knows the sit, shake, stay and come commands; and takes treats gently. She does pull at first on a leash, but is generally easy to walk. Peach can sometimes be selective with other dogs, preferring those that are calm. As always, slow introductions and careful supervision are the key to making doggy friends. She also doesn’t like to share her food. Her good qualities far outweigh her challenges, though, and you’re sure to fall in love once you meet her. Make an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services today to get to know Peach!
