Pasco EDC recognizes Companies and Honorable Leader

Last evening hundreds were in attendance at the Pasco EDC 33^rd Annual Awards and Trade Show, including many local business leaders and government officials.

“The growth we are seeing in Pasco right now is outstanding, all 14 Award Finalists made great investments in their businesses and community” said Bill Cronin, Pasco EDC, President/CEO. “I can’t think of a better way to wrap up the Pasco EDC’s year, than to honor the amazing six companies we awarded and Dr. Gills.”

Nominees were scored based on: company growth, leadership in current business issues, and corporate citizenship. The 2019 Pasco EDC Award Winners are:

Start-Up Business of the Year: The Point Distillery

Leadership Award:  Dr. James P. Gills

A world-renowned ophthalmologist, Dr. James P. Gills, is a generous philanthropist, athlete, author, and man of faith. After years of persistence and dedication, his vision for a new community developed into what is now know as Trinity, Florida, in southwest Pasco County.
